Lena and Helga met at the grocery store. After asking about each other’s aches and pains, the conversation turned to their husbands.

“Oh,” said Lena, “Ole died. He went out to the garden to dig up a cabbage for dinner don’tcha know, had a heart attack and dropped dead right in the middle of the garden.”

“Oh my!” exclaimed Helga, “What did you do?”

“I came here to buy a cabbage.”
